The former Miss England and Miss Great Britain amazed everyone by wearing a glamorous bridal gown in her own engagement celebration last January 16. The £26,000 gown, embroidered with crystals, swept the floor of the Mayfair Hotel as Lloyd and her fiance Jamie O’ Hara greeted their guests. It was surely a dress that any bride-to-be can aspire for in her dream wedding in Ottawa perhaps.

The football midfielder Jamie O’ Hara, who plays for the Tottenham Hotspurs, got down to his knees and proposed to Lloyd while the couple was in Paris last December; however, it was not until recently that Lloyd announced her engagement to O’hara. The couple, who have been dating since last April, plans to have a huge wedding ceremony in the year 2011.

Among the guests was the heartthrob from the television show X factor, Olly Murs, who smiled approvingly with thumbs up to the photographers. It was rumored that O’hara spent £10,000 to book him for the celebration in order to please Danielle who is a huge X factor fan.

Katie Price, one of Danielle’s closest friends, was also there to attend the engagement party, but the glamour model appeared inexplicably gloomy and temperamental. Nevertheless, she looked stunning when she arrived in the Mayfair Hotel wearing a very sexy and short purple dress.

Other notable guests were TV presenter Liz Fuller, Lizzie Cundy, and singers from the girl group The Saturdays.

Ali Larter & Hayes MacArthur. Heroes actress Ali Larter tied the knot with actor Hayes MacArthur at his parents’ estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. The dress is part of the Vera Wang Luxe Collection and is called Luxe Le Notre. It retails for $8,900.

Mad Men babe Christina Hendricks and (500) Days of Summer actor Geoffrey Arend wed at Il Buco restaurant in New York City in October 2009.  Christina was wearing a Carolina Herrera wedding gown which looked absolutely stunning on her.
