Trash the dress…you really don’t trash it!!!!

Ok brides I’m sure you’ve heard about a fairly new type of photo session called “Trash the Dress”.

I have had many brides ask me that question so what’s it all about?

DigitalPix Photography Trash the DressThis type of photography began a few years ago in the US where some brides actually did tear up their wedding dresses but we have evolved since then. Today it’s really about taking photographs of the bride in her dress at a location or in a situation that would not be possible or advisable on the day of the wedding. An example of this would be a location shoot of a bride at a beach rolling around in the sand and water great images for sure but really not possible on the wedding day.

Trash the Dress Session with DigitalPixsThis type of photography achieves better results the day after the wedding or after the honeymoon. But don’t leave it to long; you want to be able to fit in the dress. Trash the dress sessions are extremely fun and creative. When meeting with my clients regarding their Trash sessions we discuss the location, props, posing and time of day all these components are important to achieve exceptional results. Hey let’s not forget our grooms these sessions work well with grooms alone or with the bride the images that be created as a couple are fantastic.

So if you’re looking for something different and creative that will produce some great images seriously give it a thought it’s only a dress!!!!!

Always fulfilling their client’s expectations and leaving them breathless with creative imaging surprises.  What else would you want?  A professional photographer with 30 years of experience, Jean Chartrand is available for weddings in the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal areas. To see samples of his work visit his website at www.digitalpixs.ca or email him at jeanchartrand@digitalpixs.ca or call 613-203-7334 today, and make the best choice for wedding photography.

Prenuptial Agreements: Should you be upset?

A prenuptial agreement is a legal document that outlines which belongings including investments, business assets, or family inheritances (to name a few) go to whom if the marriage fails.  Basically saying if the marriage fails, what you owned before the marriage to returned to you. Nobody likes to think of their marriage falling apart, but sometimes it does.  Having a prenuptial agreement in place may help you protect your personal possessions.  These agreements are more popular then you can imagine.  Perhaps its because couples are getting married later in life and with that in mind have more personal belongings and investments that they may want protected.  Some individuals are totally against prenups, others think of it as a safeguard to cover all possibilities.  What do you think [...] Continue Reading…
